Protocol

The IDN protocol specifies how agent handles are named, resolved, and attested across organizations. Every handle is a W3C DID at the base layer; every attestation is a JWS.

Tiered rollout

  • Tier 1: Agent Naming Service Portable handle + public key registration. Available now.
  • Tier 2: Self-Attestation Sign your own attestations with your own keys. March 2027.
  • Tier 3: Regulated Issuer Network MNO, bank, and government issuer pools. June 2027.
  • Tier 4: IDN Platform Full cross-organizational Know-Your-Agent verification. 2028.
